In the area of HSE, CNOOC Ltd. positively refers to overseas advanced management experiences and opens up to active information exchange with relevant international organizations. CNOOC Ltd. was the only Chinese petroleum company that joined the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (OGP) and the International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conservation Association (IPEACA).
For a long time, CNOOC Ltd. has kept close relations and communication with internationally renowned groups and organizations such as OGP, Society Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and American Petroleum Institute (API), to share good HSE management and operation practices.

As a member of OGP, CNOOC Ltd. assisted OGP in organizing the “Workshop on Offshore Accidents Management” in 2005.
