Communication and Team
To create a harmonious working environment, CNOOC Ltd. encourages communication between employees, as well as between employees and their management.

Meetings, discussions, reports, email, etc. are used as routine communication channels at work. The Company also communicates its decisions and important events to employees in a timely manner through internal websites and establishes a platform for information exchange and feedback.

Based on its focus on the protection of employees’ legal rights and the fulfillment of the Company’s responsibility to employees, the Labor Union of CNOOC Ltd. monitors various business activities related to the interests of employees. At the same time, it also represents its members in communicating and coordinating with the Company and its management.

The Company also organizes regular physical training and amusement activities. It also supports employees in organizing spontaneous health club activities such as mountain climbing, soccer, yoga, and swimming. The Company has a special team-building fund to encourage the development of more activities that facilitate the interaction and communication amongst the Company’s departments and employees.
